Waffeln-das Rezept was ich dieses Jahr wohl am wenigstens gemacht habe.
Warum, ganz einfach ich habe kein Waffeleisen bei mir daheim gehabt. Ich bin kein besonders großer Freund von weiteren Geräten die wiederum Platz in meiner sowieso schon viel zu kleinen Küche beanspruchen. Und der zweite Grund war, dass meine Schwester mir letztes Jahr eins geschenkt hat und nach keinen zwei Wochen hat das nicht mehr funktioniert. Seit dem hadere ich mit mir und überlege welches wohl passen würde.
Mein kleiner Bruder hat mir nun zum Teil die Entscheidung abgenommen. Das hier sind natürlich keine gewöhnlichen Waffeln, nein sie sind in Sternenform. Das Waffeleisen lag dieses Jahr unter dem Tannenbaum und er hat es mir ganz stolz gebracht. Ich bin mir zwar ziemlich sicher, dass auch dieses nicht besonders lange halten wird aber eine gutes Geschenk war es auf jeden Fall.
Ich meine Pancakes haben auch etwas an sich, aber Waffeln sind doch ein Tick besser. Den Teig in die Form füllen, Deckel schließen und dann ein paar Minuten aufräumen oder andere Sache nebenher richten. Das liebe ich ja total und vergesse dann natürlich immer die Gerichte im Backofen, auf dem Herd oder auch im Waffeleisen. Nobody's perfect.
Was ist bei diesem Gericht so besonders um es noch in diesem Jahr mit euch zu teilen?
Es besteht tatsächlich nur aus einer Handvoll an Zutaten und für den besonderen Crunch sind Mandelstücke im Teig. Das ist wohl wirklich das beste, selbst Robin meinte das!
Solltet ihr an Silvester zu spät ins Bett kommen, lassen sie sich auch wunderbar vorbereiten und dann nur noch im Toaster, Pfanne oder Backofen erwärmen. Einfacherer geht Frühstücken fast nicht mehr!

Why, quite simply, I did not have a waffle iron at my house.
I am not a very big friend of other devices which in turn claim space in my already too small kitchen anyway. And the second reason was that my sister gave me one last year and after less than two weeks it did not work anymore. Since then I quarrel with myself and consider which would fit well.My little brother has now partially removed the decision. These are of course no ordinary waffles, no they are in star shape. The waffle iron was under the christmas-tree this year and he was very proud of it.
While I'm pretty sure this will not last very long, it definitely was a good gift.I mean, pancakes have something, but waffles are so much better. Fill the dough into the mold, close the lid and then bake it up for a few minutes or do other things at the same time. Of course I love that and forget the dishes in the oven, on the stove or in the waffle iron. Nobody's perfect.
What's so special about this dish to share with you later this year?
It actually consists of only a handful of ingredients and for the special Crunch are almond pieces in the dough. That's probably the best, even Robin meant that!
Should you come to bed late on New Year's Eve, you can also prepare it wonderfully and then only warm it up in the toaster, pan or oven. One of the easiest breakfast ever!
