English translation
What should not be missing this Sunday are probably these ginger-chai heart cookie sandwiches!
Soft cookie dough meets creamy cashew filling.
Just the best a gift for your mom or for yourself, obviously.
I'm an absolute chai drinker, besides tea and water of course, so these cookies are perfect in my eyes. A slight spiciness through the ginger and you have everything to make me and maybe your mother happy on Sunday. I mean, nothing can beat about homemade gifts (and especially something baked ?!)
If you ask yourself what a chai is: the sugar and the really indescribably tasty chocolate are all from GEPA. A great brand and I also created this recipe for them!
If you want to bake the cookie sandwiches as a last minute gift, you can simply use cashew butter instead of the soaked cashews and mix with the other ingredients. Save some time and still taste just as delicious!
But do not forget the chocolate on top, which is definitely a must!
